Privacy & Site Information
How this educational website handles content, attribution, and student privacy.
About this website
YMIC is a student-led, school-approved club at Yale Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Activities are educational. They are not professional medical training, clinical qualifications, or personalized medical advice.
Student privacy
This website has no public student login, attendance tracker, rankings, or comment system. The Join YMIC page describes the membership request form and its privacy notice. Membership submissions are processed through Web3Forms, with hCaptcha spam protection, as described in the Join page privacy notice. Student records and any proposed achievement reports remain private. Identifiable student photographs may only be added with appropriate school authorization and consent.
Website technology
This site does not add analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The hosting service may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. Follow the hosting provider's policies for those details.
Sources and external websites
The Research & Sources library identifies external publishers and links to their original material. Summaries are written for this website. External websites have their own content and privacy policies. References do not imply partnerships or endorsement.
Images and attribution
The original YMIC logo is displayed without cropping, redrawing, or colour changes. The supplied Yale crest is preserved in the project files and is reserved for a secondary placement if approved by the school. Medical activity illustrations were created for this website and are simplified educational schematics. They do not show real students or patients. No external source photographs or videos are rehosted.
Content updates
Founding history is preserved separately from the current executive team. Activity pages are an evergreen library, not a live schedule. Google Classroom carries internal assignments and announcements. Questions or corrections can be raised with the current club leadership or Teacher Advisor through the school.
